Whats your A priority race this year?

I guess it would be Timberman 70.3 in August, where I hope to get a slot to the 2017 70.3 WC. Goal is an AG win there.

I have time goals for other races, and I’m also hoping to break 3:00 for the first time at the NYC Marathon in November.

For the first time in 15 years I don’t have an IM on the schedule this year, it’s a very odd feeling. Steelhead is probably the closest thing I have to an A race, but I don’t really look at my season that way.

I have two A races. My first ultra (50k Bighorn Trail Run) is in June. My first IM (NC, formerly B2B) is in October.

Damn. I noticed it was old, but thought it was resurrected from a month ago, not from the Bush administration.

I guess in 2003, my A race was Ironman Florida

So much thread necromancy happening today. All from the same guy. But it is interesting to look back through the posts. What did “IMUSA” become?

I’ve always been under the impression that Lake Placid = IMUSA. Maybe someone will correct or confirm that.
