Don’t bother with SRAM. Get a Connex Wipperman. You’ll never use another chain.

I have 970s on a road bike and a mountain bike. They last for ever, about twice as long as the Shimano HG chain on the MTB before… I just wish they made 10 speed chains. However, it looks like the 990 is mostly nickel and is more than likely a little lighter.
