Hi, does anybody knows a good article or has some recommandation about what to(and not) eat in junk food restaurants? For exemple, burger king, mcDo, Subway, Harveys…(I live in Quebec city and unfortunatly we dont have any Taco bell but we have Ashton if you know it) Are asiatic fast food good(noodles, chicken, vegetables) or most of them fry it so much and in so much oil that it’s not really good?
My problem is that I work hard and train hard so I dont have much time (and interest, and discipline…) in cooking so I often end up taking lunch in fast food restaurant and sometime dinner (shame on me). I’m still trying to change that but…
Here’s what my menue look likes:
5AM or 7 if I dont swim: drink (1 egg, 1 banana, yogourt, some strawberrys and skimmed milk)
after the swim : endurox
10AM orange or apple, and a bagel with extra low fat phiddellphia cheese
noon – often junk
15h fruit
after training – usually pastas (quick and easy) if the training was hard, endurox right after.
So I’ve put more into this tread than I intended to but I thought that you might had some interesting comment on my “diet”. But the question remains what are the best choices at the fast foods I named. By the way, someone as to stay realistic, I wont ask a big Mac without the sauce! But I can eat something else.
