There new website is horrible, completely horrible. They should shut it down it’s complete nonsense. You can no longer sign in to your homepage, they no longer list the AG place/Overall Place etc. Plus it’s more difficult to navigate and here is the kicker. They list your best times for the Olympic, Half Iron and Ironman, I guess Sprint triathlons don’t count to them. Why did they mess up a good site and make it bad? Did they run out of money and down size or something. Just shut the thing down, this is a joke.

If things that are jokes should be shut down, why haven’t you given up yet?
It changed between yesterday and today. And not for the better. I went out there like 2 minutes ago and said WTF?
I got you covered. http://forum.slowtwitch.com/forum/Slowtwitch_Forums_C1/Triathlon_Forum_F1/Cry_like_a_little_biatch_here._P1566945/

I even tried to contact me them via their contact link and it does not work. They had a good thing going before, maybe someone bought them out and it trying to do it cheaper with a messed up website.
Do they have something against Sprint Race too. I guess they are elitest and Sprint races don’t count.
I got you covered. http://f@ck) I’ll make sure to tell you, “I got you covered”.
I’ll make sure to tell you that when I pass you on the bike too.
Didja ever think that not all “sprints” are created equal? I did a few that were odd balls, like a 300m/22.5 Mile/4.5Mile “sprint”, then a 500yd/14.6 mile/4.3 mile sprint. Sprints aren’t always 750m/20K/5Ks, where as IM / HIM / OLYs are more standardized.
That being said, the new interface will take some getting use to, but I think you might be one of the “change is always bad” kinda folks.
It’ll be alright!
I actually like the new site. It definitely needs to be tweaked and improved upon, but it is a nice refreshing look.
“You can no longer sign in to your home”
-Not sure what you are are referring to, but I went to the home page and signed in right away
"they no longer list the AG place/Overall Place "
-Not sure what you are talking about here either. I can see my AG place and overall place on the main list. If I drill down to a particular race, I can see even more details about my placing.
“They list your best times for the Olympic, Half Iron and Ironman, I guess Sprint triathlons don’t count to them.”
-Seriously? And how would that work? Pretty much every single sprint tri that I have done has been a different distance. With that in mind, my fastest time would most likely be the shortest course. Oly, half, and full are set distances which make it easy to figure out what your PR would be.
"Just shut the thing down, this is a joke. "
-Yep, that sounds like the perfect fix.
Disclaimer: I have absolutely no affiliation with athlinks.com. I was technically in their “beta” testing group, but really only accessed the beta site once or twice to check it out. I’m simply a programmer that understands websites need to change and grow and that with any upgrade there will be growing pains.

Not all Olympic distances are the same either. They have my time down as a 1:40 Olympic, damn isn’t that a World Record? There new interface is not that good, difficult to navigate and the entire site has less features than before. Plus, no way to update your stuff because there is no log in anymore. I guess they control everything.
Yep, it does look the Contact button is not working, I would suggest heading over to FB and joining their conversation there.
From the post: “Change can be a scary thing, but after weeks of feedback & updates from our beta test Athlinks community, the new Athlinks is here. Keep in mind, this is an ongoing process and we will be re-introducing some of the features you may not see anymore along the way as they are completed. So login, play around and all we ask is if you have any trouble, shoot us an email to support@athlinks.com and we’ll get you taken care of. Thanks!”
So, don’t be scared. Be constructive and part of the solution. Or you can just head to the “Cry like a little biatch here” thread as previously suggested.

Wow, you helped design this, go back to school my friend. This is a bad site. And what the hell is the “Alaska Project”? Plus, who cares about how many miles someone raced? Seriously, it’s not like I go around saying, "Hey, buddy I raced 2,500 miles throughout my lifetime, what’s next? Are they going to say I spent 500,000 minutes in races? This site sucks.
I think I’ll start around competing website and make some money off this. Because they apparently dropped the ball on it.
Yep. And I have a 70.3 with a PR nearly 45 minutes faster than my real PR because the swim was cancelled. Athlinks doesn’t create the data, they just aggregate it. If a race reports itself as a 70.3 (or Olympic in your case), they that is how Athlinks categorizes it. I bet if you contact Athlinks via their FB page, they would be happy to make the correction.

Thanks, I’ll do that.

A 1.5 / 10 on the troll-o-meter.
Is that all you got? weak.

Not trolling, just stating a beef and wondering what is going on with them. Thought that maybe someone here knew because I was not able to contact them via their website. However, now I see them on Facebook and can state my displeasure with them directly. Now this will be fun… LOL.
I’m surprised someone of your supreme awesomeness is vain enough to look at that site. We all know we suck and you are truly a god among men, and a former pro to boot. The new site does suck.
You can’t really have a sprint distance PR, since while there is a standardized race distance for it… or at least not that is used frequently. Ye,s there is the 1/2 Olympic distance, but it’s not used that commonly from what I’ve seen. More common is probably 500M/20-25k/5-8k

You sure can have a PR for a Sprint Distance race! Not all Olympic distances are the same either. For instance, Memphis In May Olympic distance triathlon is short along with many others which are shorter or longer. However, a sprint distance has 3 events of and usually takes a person less than 2 hours to complete. I think they should “highlight” the majority of the races a person does not just the long stuff. If a guy does 100 Sprints, 10 Olympics, 5 Half’s and 5 Ironman’s, don’t discount the majority of his events.
