What kind of goggles will not fall off in head-first pool dive?

.

Just about every goggle will stay on but the issue is more likely on how you are diving in the water (assuming you are diving head first).

You will need to put your head down as if looking at your feet while diving in head first. I normally wear the strap under my cap while doing that only because the strap slides down the back of my head while diving.

The kind where you hold both hands in front of your face if you jump feet first. If you dive like off a starting block…well any goggle that is made for racing will do.

its not the goggles, its the position of your head. If you tuck your head down correctly, the goggles will stay in place.

beer goggles.

Head position is key…but a properly fitted pair of Swedes will not fall off or leak no matter what you do to them.

I coach HS swimming, and urge all my kids to wear Swedes. They are a pain in the arse to get used to, but its one less thing to worry about in meets. Plus…they are cheap.

x2 (3, 4?)

But if you want new goggles try Aqua Sphere K180 - love em!!

What are you wearing a scuba mask? I’ve never had a problem with any swim goggle.

You’re probably just not using enough staples to attach them to your head.

TYR Tracer goggles. Tried so many different types (I have a weird shaped nose and eye sockets which make using swedes, vanquishers amongst others) and these are easily the most comfortable, water resistant and have the best field of vision out of the ‘swimmer approved’ goggles (wearing the Zoggs predator screams triathlete…and I swim with a swim squad)

It’s spelled google.

It is all about the placement of the head not the goggles.

Should probably try 5/8" staples. I have a staple gun I can lend for the cause

scuba mask! I almost choked on my cheese balls…

dindu, how long have you been swimming… I mean diving… I mean…? You know what I mean.

.

haha staples…i think the slightly bigger aqua sphere kaiman goggles stay attached to my face better than the smaller, traditional swim goggles.

It’s all about squeezing your head between your biceps when you dive, which is related to your head’s position.

Just get some swede’s
