What is a bidon?

The tour coverage talks about bidons. What are these?

glad to help. Personally, I’d rather have a water bottle when I’m racing a bike than one of them bidon things.

A bidon or a bidet (pronounced bid-day) a bidet is a post toilet butt washer thing. I have no idea what a bidon is though…

(Look up R10C’s post on toilets from a few weeks ago for more info on bidets.)

Basically it’s a French drinking fountain for your ass. You sit on it like a toilet, turn the knobs on for warm and cold water, and it quench’s your butts thirst. Good on really hot days.

i sure hope this group sorts out which is the bottle and which is the fountain.
