Ja Ja - I guess Rasmussen has taken over for him, but I can’t say he has the same appeal. I keep looking at these mountain stages and wondering which ones would have been Ja Ja’s escapes.
Virengue - The man had attitude. Say want you want about him, he kept going forward and basically told everyone to kiss off.
Zabel - I always thought of him as a kind of Darth Vader on the tour…you love to hate him.
TEAM ONCE - L.S. has not had the same intimidation factor that ONCE had. Disco is alot like them now, but it was nice when there were two of them. The Disco vs CSC thing hasn’t really played out.
and finally…
