What FRONT light can i use on an AERO bike?

and how/where would it attach?

would like to ride pre-dawn as I do on a road bike

i have a surfas true light…

the clip fits around the areobars, and there is a screw on the mount, back it out and I can rotate the mount to point in any direction on that plane. tighten it down and it stay in place.

other than that, maybe a helmet mounted light?

This mount - http://goo.gl/gVgiF4 - both the small and large version work.

It’s a great light. Super visible in bright daylight. Bunch of different modes. USB rechargeable and very quick to take on and off. Really well made, awesome value too. I mount mine underneath rather than on top as I have BTA hydration. https://www.rei.com/product/895623/cygolite-dash-350-front-bike-light

I use something similar to this:

Velcro goes under the aero bars, holding a flashlight facing forward. But for me it is more of a “be seen” light than a “see” light.

Specialized Stix Comp https://www.specialized.com/...compheadlight/106128 and the aero strap https://www.specialized.com/us/en/accessories/stix-aero-strap-mount/105397
.

Helmet light for seeing and mec turtle lights for handle bars… I just loop an extra garmin elastic on them.

just to piggy back on this thread. How bright should a bike light be? In my situation, I’m mainly wanting to ride about 6 miles to the main loop I go on which. I’m actually thinking about leaving about 20 minutes before sunrise so there should already be some light. Any ideas on how bright I would need? For my situation, I don’t want to spend more than $75. Preferably closer to $50

my vote - and practice for about five years now - has been helmet mounted lights - both front and rear - for TT bike riding. It actually serves double duty since the weight of the lights makes the helmet about as heavy as my TT helmet (probably heavier), which makes riding with good posture in races easier. Get ones with an external battery that you can carry in a jersey pocket.

any you recommend?
