What do you use to clean your carbon fibre frames?

hi,

pardon my ignorance, but can car wash products be used to clean my CF frame?
for example, turtle wax.

I use Pledge. The silicone works well on clearcoated carbon fiber.

I use Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash and their NXT wax for all of my bikes. Works extremely well.

Wash the bike to remove dirt and grime and then use a wax (liquid is easier IMO). I use Jubilee kitchen wax (SC Johnson). Any product like this will work as well as pledge or even furniture wax, and it applies to any frame with a clear coat. The wax will help polish and protect the clear coat.

Dilute Simple Green and H20 50/50

Soap and water. They’re tools, not works of art.

warm water with a little dish soap. Finish with a soft dry cloth. I’ll have to try the Pledge to shine it up.
