What color to paint the walls in a home gym?

It has been sky blue for years now and Im looking for a change of pace. Anybody know anything about all the ideas that certain colors have an impact on the psyche? And if so, what color would promote hard work and/or energy in a gym?

Or, regardless of any studies or research or whatever, any suggestions?

.

I got a light pastelish lime greenish colot in my Comp/bike worlout room. I got 2 windows to look out and a tv so that helps out a bit.

That was a mighty quick reply. And an interesting one too, what with all its pretty letters and colors.

I was unaware that asking about paint on a wall would necessitate such a response.

I suppose I should be more hardcore and not paint the walls at all, that would make me tougher.

Matter of fact, Im just going to tear the walls down and ride in a cement cave to harden up a bit.

Thank goodness for posts like that to help me realize the err in my ways.

A nice, deep shade of … black :sunglasses:

i see your, black

and raise you, remove windows.

  1. Blood Red
  2. Bright Yellow
  3. Fluorescent Orange

You guessed it, not an interior decorator……

Paint the walls an off white. Then cut yourself and smear/splatter your blood all over the walls. HTFU.

Pick the ugliest colour that meets your tastes. That way you can work on your physical and mental toughness at the same time.
