-Had a customer in this morning with an idea- anyone know for sure?
someone posted that the marina there told them 58 late last week
.
I’m a lot more concerned with the air temp than the water temp. I’ll gladly take a low 60’s swim in exchange for a mid 70’s bike & run.

I’m heading out tommorrow. What was the idea
I am heading out Fri. morning. My inlaws drove through yesterday and the local paper said it was going to be roughly 10 degs. cooler than last year, which was 10 degs. cooler than the year before. Water temp. won’t be freezing and with the weather this week, should warm up a bit. They said to look out for thunder showers on Sat. and Sun., but they said that last year and it rained the morning of the race, but race temps were great.
I would guess the water temp. at around 60-64 deg. Perfect for a long swim.
Good luck to all racing.
Exactly!! I don’t understand all the concern with water temp…we are wearing wetsuits for heavens sake. Frankly anything over 65 is too damn warm for a wetsuit anyway. Latest NWS forecast says 40% chance of showers for Sunday. I would love some afternoon clouds and even a sprinkle or two for the run.
I have done all my training in the early morning hours and haven’t done anything in the heat (it’s been a cool spring here in NorCal) so I am a little concerned about a warm run.
Probably won’t be below 32 degress F.
