I don’t know how this doesn’t rate top three in their catalog. This album kills cover to cover. It’s almost entirely about his acrimonious break up and divorce, sort of a Taylor Swift record for ear blistering rock fans. Easily my favorite album of the last 12 months. Can’t turn it up loud enough.
Ginger Baker. I think Toad is the best song of all time, but his solo albums are worth a listen to. Hell of a rock drummer for a jazz drummer. His sounds are so complicated.
Clifford Brown and Max Roach

Having trouble deciding. You pick it, I’ll spin it.
In the meantime

It’s a pleasant summer evening here in Wisconsin, outside listening to some live zydeco

If you ever shopped at 3rd Street Jazz (and I’m SURE that you did), I highly HIGHLY recommend checking out Jerry Gordon’s show in WPRB, Fridays at noon

I’m at a local live theater doing Prince and David Bowie. The musicians are great and the guys playing and singing are great.
I’m sad that “‘No Bowie Covers’ Rule” hasn’t gone global, but I’m glad you’re enjoying

Painfully accurate.
Just picked this up yesterday.
Nice!
They have so many live recordings I don’t know which to invest in. Definitely want something spanning Ten through Yield
They certainly do and this a 1994 concert so very Ten heavy with some Vs. But you can’t go wrong with these tracks.

Ohhhh, I’m going to have to look for that. I didn’t know it was a thing and the Fox is one of my favorite venues.
Just finished listening to it… one disappointment is that the recording was from a radio broadcast so there are 3 radio edits.
Otherwise everything thing I hoped it would be.
A couple of weeks ago, Pete Townshend released a collection of live sets recorded from 1985-2001
14 “shows”/166 tracks/14hrs26mins
I think I’ve listened to four of them, so far

I have a 6 year old daughter. The answer to this thread, for me, on most nights, is Taylor Swift. Always Taylor Swift.
