Not every movie works for this. Just got off after watching the more recent Hulk movie. It really keeps your attention the entire time.
Any other recommendations?

I could keep going, but you’re probably bored by now.
No, that’s a good list. I’ve seen about half of them; others might also benefit.
I feel like you are looking at your wall and reading things off
Just a partial of my Netflix history. I’m much more looking forward to my queue.
american flyers.
watch something that motivates you like some of the pre movies.
over the top, rambo I, rambo II, rocky I, II, III, IV, V, rocky balboa, cliff hanger…any stalone movie…
I’m with Lou… American Flyers!
Also, I love watching earlier Tours on DVD.
i’m relatively new, but i’ve been sticking to TV. lets me do some interesting intervals by using the commercials as timing. it’s not exact science but it keeps me interested/ motivated.
My choices, in no particular order but the first:
Star Wars (original trilogy)The Lord of the Rings (extended editions on all – it was nice when I had the DVD changer)What It Takes**The Rocky Horror Picture Show Tour de France Tour of California
.
Psycho.
I liked watching “Pro” while doing long roller exercises.
Now now Francois, play nice
.
Matt, try “overcoming”, “Hell on wheels” or any of the Tdf DVDs for the trainer.
I watch TV shows. I do entire series. Its better than a movie. Movies can lose pace during the middle, you can get bored halfway through. I zone out more during movie than TV shows. For TV shows I say:
Lost, Oz, Sopranos, Firefly, BSG, Top Gear UK, right now my memory fails me, there are quite a few other series I have seen on my bike. I do 90+% of my bike riding on my trainer.
30min episodes are preferred, because you can tailor the workouts during them better.
x2 for American Flyers! Classic!
Midway it is 3 hours plus
.
I’m waiting for the story of a triathlete who goes out into a storm determined to get his workout in. Suddenly the weather goes bad and the winds howl, the skies darken and a tornado descends. Undaunted, said triathlete rides until his quads scream in pain. He’s pedaling so hard his thighs look like they’re breathing. He gets home and tosses the bike aside, limps in, muscles all knotted. He can barely stumble to the shower–his saving grace. The worst pain he has ever felt is relieved by a simple shower. Coming to a theater near you: LEARN: THE MOVIE!
Well played…bravo!
I watch videotapes of Ironmans past, the broadcasts on Versus. Turn off the sound, then plug in an iPod with loud, fast, angry music.
Otherwise, I’ve recommended many times the movie “Blue Crush.” It’s two hours of Kate Bosworth and Michelle Rodriguez wet and in bikinis.
