Wetsuit brand suited for the long torso, pls recommend

It is time for a new wet suit and there seems to be a lot more brands around than 3 years ago. Aside from De Soto 2-piece, which brands are inherently favorable to the long of torso?.

So far my own research has come up with Orca not so, while Nineteen more so.

Additional insights much appreciated.

2XU works for me had the Elite just got the V1. Orca was not good!

Many thanks.

ORCA was horrible for me but blue seventy seems to work so far.

Quintana Roo seems to fit me. 5’10", 29.5 inner leg

Xterra works great for me.

Jack,

Thanks for considering a Nineteen. We are cut longer in the torso than the other brand you mentioned. Don’t want to turn this into and us/them comparison, but it’s very important to find the suit that fits you best. If you are really long in the torso, I would suggest that you look at either our Tsunami or Frequency models. The rubber used in both of these suits is much more accomodating and can handle varitions in torso length much better. I have a very long torso as well and I find that I can fit into our Frequency model much better than into our Pipeline model - our entry level suit, that while being a great wetsuit, is much less forgiving when it comes to flexibility. You have to hit the Pipeline bang-on to get a good fit with it.

Thanks Steve, Nineteen is definitely on my short list.

Steve, what size Nineteen wetsuit would a 110-pound 5’7" tall woman wear to get an optimal fit? Also, did you get my earlier pm message?

thanks!

5’ 10" 175 pounds, long torso, short legs. Gave up on previous Orca. New QR has been great!

Defintely look at Aquaman. Among the best of suits out there.
