My bro-in-law is thinking about getting a road bike. Any shop suggestions in the Westchetser County, NY area?

Ill have to give a plug for Danny’s Cycle’s in Scarsdale…I think its in the area, my girlfriends uncle used to own the place…they push a lot of treks, and I think they carry raleigh as wel

I live in northern Westchester county. Shops that are good in my area include Julio’s in Chappaqua, Bicycle World in Mt. Kisco, Hickory and Tweed in Armonk, and Yorktown Cycles in Yorktown. They each have different brands, etc.

Depending on what he wants to buy, it may be best to go see Greg Pelican at Bethel Cycles in Bethel CT. He is very good, great at fitting, has a lot of bikes, and has a shop tri team. Website is great, including bikes for sale, and also lots of other interesting articles.

I second Julios and Bicycle World. I generally use Julios and love the guys there family run biz real cool. sell Look and Scott mostly.
