Well made women's run gear?

Hey folks-

My wife is asking for some new running gear (tops mainly) as well as some new cycling gear (kits) for Hanukkah- I know where to get the cycling stuff, but I’m a bit lost on the run gear.

Who’s making really well made run gear for women these days? I’d prefer to buy well stitched gear that will last her rather than stuff that’s going to break down in a year.

ETA: Thanks folks, ordered some stuff from Lulu and from Rabbit!

My wife wears Brava Triathlon stuff for running and cycling and likes it. She likes Craft as well.

ETA: You might search the women’s forum to see what clothing they are talking about.

Oiselle, Rabbit

Woman here! Malo Republic (sister company to Wyn) makes great run stuff. I run in their shorts daily and have had some shorts for 3+ years now. The material might seem kind of thin. But, the material just kinda “sticks” to you when you start sweating. Makes them very comfortable for running.

I also think you can never go wrong with Lululemon. People complain about the prices but I almost exclusively wear their bras and I have had some for almost 10 years that I wear literally 1-2 times every week. And no, I am not exaggerating. Some of their bras are magical I guess. Because I wash them in a regular washer and let them air dry and they have kept their shape and elasticity like how they were when I just bought them. I am also a big fan of their running shorts. Lululemon also has a great lifetime return policy where if you ever have a problem with an item (and I mean like…a problem 2 years after purchase), you can bring it back to the store and they give you credit with almost no questions asked.

Lululemon, Oiselle, Athleta, Skirt Sports, and DeSoto are my favs. You will pay, but, if cared for, they will last you years and years. I think I have a Lulu skirt that’s 10 years old and still looks, feels, and performs great!

Yup! I’m a bit biased as I am Canadian - but the quality of the Lululemon stuff is WAY up there!

Women love it and you will be a winner for buying it for your wife!

In our family it went the other way - my wife was a convert to Lululemon stuff and then bought me a pair of the men’s Lululemon ABC pants for Christmas about 6 years ago. Now that’s all I wear - I have 4 pair. Ditched all my jeans and other pants!

Another woman here. I love the Malo ‘little bit longer’ shorts, and the Wyn ‘do it now’ sports bra. My absolute faves.

OISELLE!!

I’ve been wearing their shorts for the last couple of years and so good. Plus, they have many sized models in the images so you can get a realistic idea about how stuff might fit.

I don’t think you were really asking about bras. But I swear by Shock Absorber bras. Not only are they awesome and last forever, but I really appreciate the wide range of back and cup sizes they offer.

My favourite as well. The only ones that don’t chafe me.

To the OP- I know you already ordered - you can’t go wrong with Lulu. I echo the others. I have had pieces for over 10 years. I have two long sleeve shirts I wear the entire fall, winter and most of spring. I wash them (but don’t dry) constantly and they’ve still held up.

Another vote for Oiselle.
