Welcome any views on my bike decision: Trek Domane Gen 4 SL7 carbon ultegra v LANDRACE Tupelo II ML Titanium ultegra

Seeking to do my first Ironman this year and will invest in either of these bikes. I seem to see more endurance cyclists riding the carbon Trek Domane and it has be sized comfortably to my bike fit measurements, but I do like the extra custom fit LANDRACE Tupelo. I understand titanium may be better for comfort over longer distances but wonder if it’s too clunky? Welcome any other pros and cons.

I don’t have much to add here except to say that it warms my heart to see someone considering a titanium bike. For whatever reason, and I can’t seem to put my finger on it, titanium is my favorite frame material. Both bikes are excellent but the Trek has no soul. Go to a tri and you’ll see a gazillion Treks. Nothing wrong with them – good bikes, well made, fast, properly engineered. But you won’t see many titaniums and almost definitely won’t see a Landrace (at least not in my parts). It makes a statement. This has nothing to do with performance or which is “best.” It’s all window dressing. But image counts for something, right?
