Felt IA14 weight
For a long short, I have impression (hearing and touching) that Felt IA is heavy.
I got a speedconcept (I think the most entry level 7.0, year at least 2013), and bought an IA14 (not sure about year). Both has Ultegra Shimano (10 speed for SC, 11 for Felt). I feel felt is really heavy, seriously.
So today, having some free time, I weight them both and try to be as precise as I could. Of course base bar and aero bar are not the same.
Roughly speaking, with wheel off and pedals off:
AI14 (Profile Design based + Felt aero + ultegra 11): 6.22 kg ~ 13.71 lb
SC: 6.16 kg ~ 13.58lb
Trek Road bike (Vision-TriMax-pro set+ ultegra 10): 5.5kg ~ 12.13lb
Ok so they are about the same.
I weight wheels
Easton90 tubular with ultegra (11 continental gatorskin (25mm): 1.47 kg ~ 3.24lb
Bontrager90 clincher with ultegra (10) – Hub is old model - continental gatorskin (25mm) + tube: 1.54kg ~ 3.39.
