Does anyone have an approximate weight for a Cervelo Soloist? I’m looking at a 58 cm frame. Frame/fork weight would be ideal. Built bike weight would be good too, but please let me know the spec.
If it was light enough for CSC (before they got the carbon version), it is likely light enough for the rest of us :-). There is usually a few lbs that you can lose for free off your body (unless of course you are already at 4% body fat).
True 'dat. I’m just trying to compare some different bikes. The Soloist is the one that I can’t find a published weight for. Still.
Check out the www.weightweenies.starbike.com site under listings, they’ve got all the frame weight info you could ever want (and more).
According to the EFBe website, the Soloist frame they tested in 2/03 weighed 1355 gm (2.98 lbs):

The size they list is a 51cm, but I believe that’s the actual measurement of the seat tube length on the frame tested. With the Soloist being a compact geometry frame, this would mean that it was either a 54 or 56 size frame.
The fork that came with my 2002 Soloist has an aluminum steerer and I weighed it to be 500 gm. Newer forks supplied with the frames most likely weigh less.
That’s all I know…
My DA equipped Soloist is 18lbs with circuits
Can give the the weight with my 404 set if you like…
