Awesome, did you do anything special for Thanksgiving? Is there something you have your eye on for the BF sales?

Big news. I got my period!

Boom! Great news - so happy for you :muscle:

Thanks. 234 days now. Thatā€™s a lot of healthy coping.

How are you?

Fantastic news, TC! And a happy thanksgiving! It looks like everything is trending up.

We had a good thanksgiving as well, and I had a relaxed 68th birthday last week.

Run/walk mileage getting back on track, and Iā€™m only about 50 miles behind the 11.5/day needed to finish the (virtual) trans-con by end of April. (I was 100 behind before. And Iā€™m going to be leaving the (virtual) state of Oklahoma in a few miles. Almost half done overall.)

Studying also had a setback with all the prior issues, but things are getting back on track, with my current focus on math and physics.

For the music, I havenā€™t been playing violin lately, but Iā€™ve been focused on a concert next weekend where I need to help out the local youth orchestra on viola and cello. The cello has needed a bunch of work now that Iā€™m also playing with the intermediate group (and itā€™s relatively new for me), but Iā€™m now reasonably good at hitting my shifts up to third position, and this helps greatly. On the other hand, my bow arm still sucks.

Chowders: Good luck with the Achilles. I had that issue for a long time, and itā€™s one of the reasons Iā€™m being so careful right now. So far it hasnā€™t really acted up.

Hey, using speech to text, sorry for the weird capitalization.

My university is in Stillwater, not sure where you are in virtual Oklahoma. Good to hear from you, I hope your body is feeling OK with all The Walking.

I think Iā€™ve said this before, but I think cello is beautiful.

@Scheherazadeno Black Friday sales. you?
@Chowders how is your achilles?

Body is holding up well because I take breaks when things donā€™t feel right. Iā€™m on Stateline Rd (where Google doesnā€™t have car images?!), but in Kansas, although the other side of the street is Oklahoma. It seems the route goes north in 3-4 miles, so Iā€™ll be inside Kansas by the end of the day. (I only did 3 yesterday; I need 4 more today to get my 2-day average to 11.5, my overall goal pace.)

Iā€™ve been AWOL in terms of the bike (and swim), so that needs to be fixed.

I also have been doing academics, but when I do what feels like just a little bit it ends up that a huge amount of time has passed. Of course, I DO enjoy it. :slight_smile:

235 DAYS! even more healthy coping!
1710 ish calories yesterday :slight_smile: and a day of daily activity w minimal pain! bit at the end of the day after an active day but muscle takes time to build up again

Thanks for asking about achilles. Itā€™s pretty good so Iā€m hoping I caught it at the acute stage. Did a ā€˜build backā€™ week of running this week (not loads but about 30k so not nothing) ā€¦ no pain but the occasional ā€˜echo/reminderā€™ that it has been unhappy. Now the tricky judgement about how much running to add over the coming weeks. Tell me to be conservative please!

BE CONSERVATIVE!!!
You will regret not being conservative.
