Any good web design software out there? I googled it and found a couple, downloaded Web Studio and played with it a bit and it kept shutting down and the simple page it produced didn’t work when I uploaded the html to my web hoster. A lot of the free ones are tied to the web hosting company, Intuit’s got high ranking but you hosting has to be thru Intuit.
If it has a starter template for landscapers all the better. Doesn’t have to be free, but not looking to spend $500 either.
Have you thought about using Wordpress? You can get a custom domain name and the pages come out looking really good. You can choose from different layouts, provide custom hearders, pick colors, etc.
I’ll be interested in the responses to this as well. I’ve not worked with anything for several years and need to do one now. The big thing I know absolutely nothing about is any type of E-commerce and how that is handled.
I just did a quick google and hit THIS. The best seems pretty cheap and offers a shopping cart as well, not sure what that means exactly or how it works, but seems like a start.
The last one I used was Dream Weaver which was probably WAY more program than I needed…although it was really cool. I’ve also used Frontpage, but haven’t used it since probably early 00’s late 90’s. That was pretty intuitive and easy to use, but also pretty quirky and buggy…but most everything was back then.
Yeah I was on that website earlier and couldn’t tell if it was legit or was pumping what it called the “best” software. The “best” one “Web Easy Professional” doesn’t have a trial download but it does have a 60 day money back guarantee. The 2nd best you have to use Intuit hosting, the 3rd best is the one I downloaded and didn’t care for it.
I’ll try the $50 one and will report back. With 500 templates it should have something for me to use.
