Thank you
I think it is the smaller one.
The one in the video has 4 supports per long side. The link above has 6
Trying to get an idea so I know what would be the minimum size
Thank you

It looks like the 24ft is the smallest one available now. I would not go under 18ft anyway: smaller pools tend to be more choppy
Here is the smaller version we used in Clash Daytona. Great deal: Amazon.com
Thank you
Is that the smallest pool you can use and still get maximum benefits?
If not what is please?
Are you going to have test swims at the Orlando convention center this weekend?
Regarding the $800 pool on amazon: What about a circulator pump and filter to keep the pool clean? And balancing chlorine and chemicals? My Endless Pool is inside a heated 70F pool room and I still use a ton of electricity to keep my pool between 79 and 81F (pool size 7x14 feet and 48 inches deep) . How would you heat or cool that pool? And wouldn’t you want to cover the pool after using it, even outside? If outside, those in the south will have to keep it cool somehow in the summer and those of us in northern climates could only use it a few months outside. Unless there is a way to heat that $800 pool from Amazon. I don’t doubt your current machine and I bet it’s a good swim experience. But as an Endless Pool owner, it was a big investment to have a perfect pool experience almost every day of the year regarding chlorine levels and temps. Maybe your next invention is a pool set up for this Slipstream that addresses everything.
The pool they linked to does have a filtration system as well as a cover
Balance chemicals is done the same way as a built in pool.
We swim outdoor lap pools all summer in FL.
I use a wetsuit to swim in unheated pools in FL through the winter. Seems like good real world practice to me.
I used to do training vacations and swim at the NTC in Clermont, FL. LOVED swimming in the lap pool in the winter! I know some Endless Pool owners on the facebook group have had to buy chillers for their pools in the summer in places like Texas and FL. A tiny pool does heat up faster than a big lap pool.
I’m sure the cheapie pool on Amazon and the Slipstream might be a nice option outside for some people who don’t have access to a lap pool. I definitely don’t trust the quality to have it indoors like my Endless Pool. One reviewer had it collapse and showed photos. That could cause some serious water damage if it was inside lol. But I don’t think those pools are intended for indoors. A great option for kids regardless of what you use it for.
YIKES!!
Thank you for the heads up
I would not want mine to collapse
Not sure if you are being facetious ![]()
I still think my Endless Pool was the best investment I’ve ever made in regard to my health, triathlon training, and general happiness. It’s my little sanctuary. It’s quite an investment but I believe you get what you pay for. I live close to the Canadian border. In the summer I still use my indoor Endless Pool but also open water swim. But that only last 4 months. So, for everyone living in cold climates who don’t have access to a lap pool, an indoor Endless Pool is the only option for an amazing swim experience (some have them outside but I don’t recommend that). And trust me, the walls are made of steel or some solid metal and no way will it ever collapse.
I am serious
Thanks to your post I rethought the purchase of that pool
You make a great point. Thank you
I’m sure I saved a good deal of aggravation. So yeas seriously thanks
I was disappointed but realize in the long run I’m better!
I’m sure you could find a “non collapsing” solution, still using the slipstream as a current source
I think the cheaper pool that can collapse is a good option for Slipstream to use for demos when they travel. If it gets damaged in transit or does collapse, it’s cheap enough to buy another one. But I do think it could cause headaches for someone who buys it and wants to swim with the Slipstream every day or so in their yard.
I agree with another poster there are probably better pool options. You could build something if you are handy. Or just install a nice backyard pool (the ones made of concrete) and use the Slipstream when the kids are not using it.
You said you live near a lap pool in FL? I am very envious of anyone who has access to a beautiful outdoor lap pool. You can swim alone or swim with a masters group. You get fresh air. I LOVE swimming in outdoor lap pools (in case that isn’t clear lol). So honestly, you might be disappointed swimming in your backyard in a small pool compared to a lap pool.
