Is there a decent waterproof digital camera that can also shoot HD video?
I just bought the Fuji film Xp. I don’t think it’s HD quality, but it is 12mp. It’s good to about 3 meters.
Shock proof, freeze proof, and underwater.
It takes great pictures and some pretty decent underwater stuff. The buttons are a little small and beause it’s waterproof a little hard to push, overall it’s about a 8.5/10.
I put it on the ground and my local Godzilla walked up and I got this shot.
Look at the Sanyo Xacti series - primarily HD video with pretty good single shot capability - got my wife one (non waterproof) for Xmas - great video, very good still image, plus some really good still while video captures.

I have the waterproof model from 2 years ago. 6mp stills, 480i video. New ones are 14mp stills and 1080 video.
Snorkeled with mine extensively, never any problems with leaks.
