Help! I finally killed my shuffle… I have killed countless ‘sweatproof’ headphones… I sweat a lot so I am resigned to the fact I need to invest in the big guns!!question which is better the audio flood or waterfi?? Thanks for any advice u guys may have!! Happy training!!

I am trying to decide to. Audiflood is like $10 cheaper, but most things I have read make it sound like waterfi.com is the way to go. I think that is what I am going to do. But I haven’t decided yet
I have had a waterproofed shuffle from Swimman.com for over 6-years, beat the hell out of it (swimming, sweating on the trainer, sauna/steamroom), and it still works. Our household also has a Waterfi for the past two years that is working great. I’m really not sure one waterproofing company is better than another…but waterproofed shuffles rock!
You can get truly water proofed earbuds on amazon for $10-15 (the same ones you see on the audioflood website).
I killed my shuffle about 3 months ago and upgraded the Waterfi. So far so good!
I have a Waterfi iPod and am still loving it after 2 years of chlorine and salt water torture. I try to swim at least 3x a week, surf when I can, and can sweat the heck out of it when I run. It’s seriously changed my motivation to push harder when I have a solid playlist pumping. It’s hard to imagine going out without it. If I ever can’t take it with me, I’ll just have to get my playlists stuck in my head!
I am using the waterfi. First one broke but they fixed it quickly and for free (other than shipping it out); no questions asked. Took a couple weeks, but in the end I have a new, working ipod and back to enjoying some music while I swim and stare at the dreaded black line.
Waterfi user here. I swim with mine usually once a week, but more so it’s been absolutely drenched with sweat from running. It works great.
