I am looking for a decent set of wheels on a budget. Came across these HED jet 2000 locally. Just wondering they are worth looking into.
Thanks
Chris

Miles? Skewers included? Clearly no tubes, tires or cassette are included… and they’re 650’s. Hopefully thats what you need.
Sent the guy a email asking him about miles and skewers. Beside those items are these a decent set or should I look for somethig else. Kind of new to this.
Thanks
those are good wheels.
Ok, thanks .
Agreed… if low miles, good wheels.
Cool, thanks for the help!
Make sure you need 650s not 700s (which are more the standard) so you aren’t suck with a set of wheels that won’t work for your bike.
assuming you need 650’s that’s an “ok” price … I sold a slightly newer pair on here with mounted tires, cassette and skewers for that price (or maybe $25 less), shipped. Shipping was $27, so $400.
But they’re good wheels.
So that is a good question! I have a 2006 Felt S32 how do I verify if I can use a 650? I know it has
Stock 700 on it.
Ya can’t - you need 700s.
So basically I can not get any older wheelset’s? Most seem to be 650, any other choices?
Thanks
No - 650 refers to the size of the wheel. 700 is a larger wheel and the two are not interchangable. It doesn’t have to do with the age. For the money, you may struggle to find a good deal. Just be patient and the right setup will come your way. This isn’t really a purchase you want to rush. I’ve got a front Hed 3 clincher that I’m going to sell if you have any interest.
