Was it all too good to be true?

4 male and 1 female Jamaican sprinters test positive ahead of the World Championships.

I bet Asafa Powell is one.

Usain? hope not. I wanna see that monster run again.

Elsewhere it was reported that no “top” male sprinters are in there…

If this story is accurate it would seem that the whole men’s 4x100 team has been busted.

Huh? Read the 2nd paragraph of the story.

Heh… no drug specified, whether or not is was even a PED is not yet stated.

Jamaican athletes.

I sense low hanging fruit…

BTW, if you look here, it’s easy to figure out who a couple of the allegedly busted are…

Hijack: The pictures of Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlasic at the bottom of your linked page are HOT!

Bad subject line, btw.

I don’t get it. 4 of the 5 busted were members of 4x100m relays…don’t you think we’d need to look at the 4x100 relay results?
Or were they athletes slated to be in the relay? Such that it would automatically be the top 4 in the 100m?

As far as I know, 'roids don’t make your fruit hang lower; they just shrivel it up like a peach in drought.

I think he meant that the jokes should be easy being that Jamacians tested positive for an illegal drug but no one is has named the drug (even though most stories say it is doping, which opens up even more avenues). Ganja baby!

(I was engaging in smartassery, but apparently not very *good *smartassery.)
