Wahoo rollers

Hi does anyone use the wahoo rollers , I’m interested as able to change bikes quickly tyre wear etc

Hey @parfi1959 we have a review on that product coming up. I think that Kickr Roller is the most unused tool they have when it comes to trainers. Assuming you have a power meter source

My wife has the Rollr and loves it. There are a few things to note; you need a power meter, you will wear through your rear tire, and it’s not particularly quiet. But it is super easy to just throw the bike on it and start riding. It’s also nice having the bit of movement in the back tire so it isn’t as static as the current direct drive trainers.

Both my training buddies have the. And rave about them.

There’s already been a Slowtwitch review of the Rollr… The Wahoo KICKR ROLLR Isn’t Your Grandpa’s Set Of Rollers - Slowtwitch News

Been using a Rollr for a while now and it’s a great piece of kit as it’s very comfortable for long rides due to the movement of the rear wheel. I don’t find that it eats tyres and is not much different to road riding. One tip is to inflate your rear tire to a high pressure so it won’t be very noisy when riding. It’s not that loud anyway.

It’s super easy to switch between my road and tri bikes and also to mount my wife’s bike on it too. Like less than 30 seconds a pop.

I have PMs on my bikes and they work flawlessly with the Rollr on Zwift and TPV. My wife’s bike doesn’t have a PM so she rides on Zwift with virtual power and it’s also fine. Not super accurate but okay for her. But having a PM makes it better.
