Wahoo KICKR floor vibration

One of the reasons I did not go with the Lemond was noise. With the Wahoo KICKR, this seems a non-issue.

Using a Kurt Kinetic, noise is minimal but vibration travels through the floor to downstairs, which turns into noise. The vibration can be mitigated using floor pads.

Has anyone noticed reduced floor vibrations using the Wahoo KICKR compared to fluid trainers? This would be a major selling point for me.

I have. I assume because it’s magnetic it doesn’t have as much momentum as fluid and a flywheel. Mine is on carpet and a trainer mat, but with the fluid trainer it replaced there was a little vibration in the room in addition to the noise from the trainer. With the KICKR it just seems to be the noise without the vibration.
