So, I began building up my new TTX last night and realized that Bontrager RXL Carbon Brake Levers will NOT fit the Vuka Bull Base Bar (the Vuka’s internal diameter is too small to fit the expander from the RXL levers).
Can someone give me the quick heads-up on which “gucci” brake levers WILL work with Vukas? I’d really prefer not to put Cane Creek or Profile on my “too cool for school” new bars…

Do the vision tech levers fit? Can get any more aero and sleek than that.

What is the ID of the Vuka bars?
I am not sure if the SRAM TT levers will fit, but if they do I like them a lot more than the Vision Levers I had previously. They do not rattle and feel more solid than the Vision levers.
I plan on putting SRAM levers on my Vuka Bull. I have been told they fit, but, have not tried it yet.

I’ll use Vision and then upgrade in the Spring.
To answer my own question, the only levers that will fit are Cane Creek and Vision…I’d consider this a disappointing oversight by Zipp.
Last week I was told by Zipp and others on here that the SRAM levers would fit. Zipp also said that the brake levers would be in stock during November.
I have a vision base bar now and have the PD brake levers and hate them immensely. When I get around to putting my Vuka Bull on the bike I’ll upgrade levers too, so please let me knwo your experiences.

My lbs just called the SRAM distributor today and called another dealer and both said the SRAM would fit. They ordered a set for me, so, I can let you know for certain in a couple weeks.
The Zipp rep told my lbs the Zipp brakes were delayed until Jan.
did you put the vision levers over the top or use the optional expander plugs?
I think that Botragers are the coolest at the moment.
The Vuka’s didn’t end up working for me so I traded them for the new Blackwell Base with Carbon Extension. I’m currently using the Blackwell Carbon levers…This combination just fit my needs better (stiffer, a more comfortable wrist position, etc.).

did the vision brake levers fit the vukas? if so did you use the expander plug or put the lever directly over the carbon w/0 an expander plug?

I used the SRAM levers. They BARELY fit into the ends of the base bar.
