Will Vittoria Pit stop work with zipp style valve extenders?
Vittoria Pit Stop works with every valve extender we tried including Zipp, Hed, Blackwell Research and Mavic. It does only work with Presta style valves, and the valve must (obviously) be open for the gas and sealant to flow inside.

I love this post cause it brings the Zipp name onto yet another item. I have yet to see a Zipp style extender but let me guess - does they have dimples on them? Is there some data from a wind tunnel test that shows these valve extenders to have negative drag?
My sincere answer is - I don’t know but I know for certain that a Vittoria Pit Stop will work with Continental style valve extenders. They are super great because you can actually bring the valve out into the open where it can be opened and closed rather then most valve extenders that just bring a tube out into the open and leave the valve hidden in obscurity down in the dark depths of a carbon rim.

Does Pit Stop work at all? My experience tells me NOT.
I took my race bike out for a shakeout run with Cd’A just a month away. I found some glass and flatted - not big slashes, just two tiny slivers of glass. I pumped in the Pit Stop and it flowed out through the holes letting the air escape with it - no seal, no pressure in the tire, NADA.
Fortunately I was carrying a spare, but I won’t be buying more Pit Stop.
I flatted this weekend at the Deuces Wild Olympic distance race and tried Pit Stop for the very first time and it didn’t work for me either. It filled up the tire, I took off, and it was flat again in just a little bit of time and the tire held nothing with no visible punctures at all. Luckily I had a spare tire with me and CO2.
The valve extenders were those nice ones that you have to remove the valve core from the tire and place into the end of the extender.
I’ve been stuck at the side of the road before for several hours in torrential rain when pitstop decided not to work, following two tub punctures - hence no spares. Utterly useless.
I was at an IM race recently. I went to the Inside Out sports tent and was ready to buy the Vittoria Pit Stop.
The guy said “You know this wont inflate your tire enough to go very far right?” I said I thought it was to patch the hole and blow up the tire.
There were three mechanics there and ALL 3 said no way it is worth chancing it with the Pit Stop it just is NOT reliable and they wouldn’t even bother buying it.
They all knew I had a spare so it wasn’t as if they were going to sell me a tire instead.
Just some input from some guys who actually sell it.

I carry a can around for training, but have yet to use it. I have no idea how many psi it would inflate to.
I would not rely on it for a race a couple of reasons: The manufacturer have a step-by-step cartoon on the can: Picture #8 show a drying time of 55 min, and a regular pump used to pump the tire afterwards. It shoots straight in, so it would not fit in a disc wheel.
Edit: The geax (Vittoria) website states it repairs and inflates a tire from 0 to 2 bar in 30 seconds. (That is 29 PSI ).

that is for a 26"x2" tyre! so will be much more than 29PSI!
but having said that… the one time i have used it (it worked fine for me!), it inflated to about 80psi IIRC…
not particularly rock hard but ok to continue
i also carry a 12g co2 to top it up a bit more.
