having some trouble installing the aero bridge on the mini clip ons.
Yes, I read the manual.
I noticed that there are two little nuts that look like they go inside the aero bridge, but I dont have any screws that go inside of them. When I look at the pictures, it looks like there are no screws on the outside of the bars, so I am confused how it stays in place.
Any helpful advice would be appreciated.
The mini clip-ons come with a pair of Flat Head Socket Cap Screws aka Socket Countersunk Screws, size = 5 x .8 x 15 (5mm O.D., .8mm pitch, 15mm long, 3mm hex), to fasten the extension to the bridge.
You may have to make a run to the hardware store.
The oem screws have a smaller head diameter than the ones you can readily get at the hardware, but it won’t matter as the screw head is inside the bar.
Just feed the screw into the end of the bar with a needle nose plier, tweezers, hemostats, whatever and pick up with a 3mm hex from the side hole and fasten together with the plug that is insered into the bridge.
