Got my new I-Magic Fortius virtual reality cycling trainer connected this morning. Holy, sht batman, this thing is almost like riding outside. The graphics are great, the training feedback is more then I get outside. I get to race against my other rides or computer opponents. I bought the steering unit with the trainer. Dam I can go anywhere on the “map” I wish to ride. No set course…just ride!!

I have the RLV of Evergreen, CO. I loaded it but have not ridden yet. The scenes on the computer look like you are riding down the actual road. its great.

This will be the first time I get total feedback from my training. Time, Distance, Wattage, HR, cadence…everything.

After another day or two and its into the virtual cycling races on the internet.

It was 35 degrees and snow outside today…I got an awesome 1 hour workout riding around Europe (?).

Paul, whats snow? Now, swimming this morning when it was 30 degrees outside was not fun getting out. :o(

Here’s a site with downloadable routes. They have a league, some of the times are rediculously fast.

**: ) **When I say snow, I mean, about 10 minutes of barely falling flakes. It was supposed to “snow” last night and this morning and it ended up being 35 and sunny for 90% of the day.

You really should try an INDOOR pool : )
