Vineman vs Santa Rosa 70.3

For those who did Santa Rosa 70.3 today and had done the old Vineman 70.3, what are you thoughts on the new course?

I really enjoyed the new course. Swim was calm the bike course was fast and the run was cool. I like it better than the old course.

I enjoyed it too.
Many of the roads were party closed to traffic (except for locals living on the road). Big plusRun was flatter and shady. Another plus. Logistics were better, particularly as T1 at Lake Sonoma is much bigger than Johnson’s BeachPersonally I like the wave start. Tends to result in bikers riding with others of comparable skill. Felt safer.
Still the run at Vineman was a classic - hard, hot, exposed. And Chalk hill was also a classic.
