Been spending July watching the TDF for a long time (since Lemond days)…anyway, seriously debating whether i spend the extra $$, add the channel from Dish Network, and invest all those hours again…other than just reading recaps, what watching alternatives do you guys use ? anything streaming that’s worth the hassle and free ? Thanks !
Just signed up for the NBC sports/Map My Ride viewing pack. Online and via tablet. $30 and great HD quality live stream. I’ve only been watching 20 minutes but I’m really impressed. Live video has come a looooong way from where it was a few years ago.
I’m watching it now. Interesting first stage between the bus and then a crash eliminating most of the top sprinters. Total chaos. Proves you don’t need Lance to make a TDF.
with this nbc package, if you miss the live stream do you know if they will have the whole stage videos that you can watch? It is hard for me to catch the live stream times
ITV is live for free … providing you have a UK iso address, which is why I needed the VPN as it routes your connection through a UK (or whatever country you choose) server to make the website think you are from there. I use it all the time, it costs me $4 a month or less I can’t remember.
