Hard to really know if he is upset that they brought in another GC leader or just all crap to deal with re Puerto. There is a good interview in either Velonews or Cyclingnews with Reiss (sp?) of CSC where he somewhat critisized Disco as well. He claimed there was something of a unwritten agreement not to hire any of the implicated riders so Levi’s comments are not really that surprizing.
I have asked a few of his riding buddies around here (he lives about a mile up the road from where I work) the question about GC competition and they didn’t have much to say…except that he is very happy to be back at Disco for what I assume is his final few years as a pro.
I think Levi is a classy guy. I would want him on my team. Good to hear he is racing in Georgia this year also. I will look for him on Brasstown.
