Adam,

The camp sounds like a great program and a great “last big weekend” before NB half iron.

As soon as my registration in confirmed for the race, I will be signing up for your camp.

The victoria 1/2 is a great race.
We’ll get you ready!
I look forward to meeting you,
adam

Hey Adam… how is training going ?

Are you doing Bare Bones ?? I’ll be there, I’ll buy you a beer after.

Are you doing Vic Half?

Trev

Hey Trev,
No I won’t be racing for a while.
I got hit by a car training in Arizona and definitely lost the battle. As Kyle can tell you, i was a little over-reached and that was the catalyst. This is my first week of consistent training and am focusing my energy on my Ironman debut in penticton.
it will be good to see you at Vic though.
Who’s your training going?
Adam

Holy crap… Kyle didn’t tell me… that totally sucks.

My training is going OK… I was worried about my cycling since I didn’t spend much time on the trainer this winter, but it seems to be coming around. My running is OK, and my swim is sucky as usual.

I am focusing on Vic Half and Cranbrook Half. If I qualify I’ll do IMC.

I hope you can get some consistent training in from now on…good luck.

Trev

Trev,

I’ll be at bare bones and if you are feeling lonely you can buy me a beer instead  Actually I’m nursing a pulled hamstring right now but hope to be back on track by then. They are shipping my peaceful tribe stuff today so look for the slow biker with the spiffy new duds on the course.

cheers,

robert

Sure, a beer it is… last year I did the two road races in Salmon Arm the week before Bare Bones… it was a 2 man TT on Sat. and a BC Cup on Sun, lots of fun. Your local bike shop isn’t putting it on this year, it’s too bad because it was the best venue I’ve ever been at.

Anyway, I better get to work so I can ride this evening.

Trev

Trev,

I’ll pass that on to the folks at Skookum. They will be pleased to hear it but won’t likely change their mind. Turned out to be too much work for not enough gain I think.

See you in Penticton

robert
