Can anybody give a review on these, please? I’ve searched the internet and came up with very little information.

I have a front wheel made w/a fusion rim. 32, 3x. it’s held up really well, despite being made by a novice wheelbuilder who had no idea what he was doing (me).
what sort of riding are you doing? deep vs are messenger rims around here. probably overkill.
More for training and racing. I can’t afford the wheels all the cool kids ride.
plenty of cool kids ride velocities. just ask the bike snob.
I have a pair that I used most of last year to train on (perhaps 4,000 miles on them or so). I had a 28 hole PT hub so I bought two Fusion rims and a front hub, and built myself a wheelset (28 spoke, 2x). They have been pretty much trouble free. I ended up switching the PT hub into a set of Hed Jet 60s. I then rebuilt the Fusion rear with the old Jet hub, and they’re hanging on the wall, getting no love. I think they may morph into a fixie wheelset next.
I have found the Fusions to be virtually indestructable. I have them set up with 32 spokes and Ultegra and a set lasted me a year and a half with a lot of winter (sand, gravel and salt) riding and I am a clydesdale, 275lbs. I wanted really safe solid training rims. Combined with Bontrager Race Lite Hard case tires I haven’t changed a flat in over 5000 km. You can get a rear wheel cover done for them at wheelbuilder.com for racing. I agree the Deep V’s are very much courier rims in Vancouver.
