Thanks for all of the responses, seems like there are some great options out there, I’ll check them out, also good to know that the included Garmin mounts work well.
I also saw a few good looking ones on Etsy.
The idea of having it on the saddle rails looks nice, if you use those can you still use a saddle bag?.
I have the KOM Varia Mount on my D-shaped Ventum NS1 seat post, and it is just OK. The top boa loop slides up and off the mount body, so it looks so-so and does not hold as securely as I would like.
How long is the loop thingy? I’m looking for something for my Cervelo P3 seatpost which is super deep.

I really like the Concentric Cycling mounts I have. Great fit on my non round seatposts, but also really nice for two 27.2 round posts. I also have the Magcad one for a Specialized saddle and it’s good. Both are such a nice step up from the stock Garmin mount.
I used https://neat-components.com/collections/frontpage They make bike-specific mounts, so I was finally able to find one that fits well and looks good on my Felt IA. Very inexpensive for a custom solution, IMHO, and a lot better than my flimsy “homemade” one using a piece of old wetsuit to shim the Garmin mount that came with the Varia.
I went with the Neat Components mount over the Concentric Cycling mount only because I figured shipping to the US would be faster from Denmark than Australia. Less than one week shipping from Denmark to US. I received the Neat Components mount last week. It’s a sold mount with two bolts. It feel much more secure than the standard Garmin mount with the rubber band.
