Anyone on here familiar with Van Dessel bikes, specifically the Motivus Maximus ? I’ve read a few good reviews, nobody has really had anything bad to say about it, but looking for some first hand feedback.
I’m looking for a road bike to replace my old Trek that I haven’t ridden in awhile, and came across this, so obviously I had to consult the masses on slowtwitch.

I have the Van Dessel Gin and Trombones cx bike and I love it. It handles really well, very predictable and solid…so really just a positive for the brand because I have no knowledge of the model you are looking at but better than nothing! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Van Dessel.

Ya, their CX bikes are super rides. Great geometry.
A friend has the hellafaster and loves the bike. I am considering their cantilever cross bike right now as they are one of the few brands still producing a non disc cross/ gravel bike.

Yes I have the Motivus Maximus and I really enjoy it. Snappy, comfortable geometry. I plan to ride it in road races and crits and I think it has the tools to do handle both well,
