Vale James Earl Jones

God damn it. I know our childhood heroes cannot live forever, but this one stings.

He played so many iconic characters, but Thulsa Doom is my most memorable. In 1982 I am not sure I even knew he voiced Darth Vadar.

Damn… I was hoping both he and Morgan Freeman can live forever so we can hear their voices.

James Earl Jones might just have the best speaking voice in human history. He was a damn fine actor too.

Terrence Mann from Field of Dreams was always my favorite.

I cannot think of anything bad ever said about him.

If nobody has seen his guest appearance on Big Bang Theory - he was an absolute riot.

His very first movie role was Lt Lothar Zogg, the radio operator in Dr Strangelove.

When the Atlanta airport was remodeled in the late 70s early 80s they tried several voices for the train doors are closing. When I heard Darth Vader say “the doors are closing”,I did react. That was too funny. Don’t mess with Darth Vader, no sir.

His finest work. Circa 1969.
