UVEX helmets (used by T Mobile)

Sergio Jr’s new road cycling team uniform is very similar to the 2006 Française des Jeux team uniform.
The DS of the team asked me to investigate if it was possible to buy the original FdJ helmets.

The manufacturer is UVEX. As you can see below FdJ and TMobile use the same helmet.

I found the main site of this company http://www.uvex-sports.de/english but there are apparently no (working) links there on the USA distributors. I also found this site www.uvexsports.com that seems to be the USA site, but it is not working.

Any idea where could we purchase these helmets? Nothing will happen if we use a similar helmet but I was wondering if someone knew who sells them in the USA (I am not going to even waste my time looking for it in Mexico g)

My wife has a Uvex T-Mobile helmet from a couple of years ago. We got it dirrectly from Uvex as that was the only way to get them in Canada. She wanted it because it was pink, go figure. Fits really nice and is a great helmet all around. Try contacting Uvex in the U.S. to see what they can do for you.

Duh, my bad sorry. I went back and reread your post. I tried to find our canadian distributor. Try calling 905-841-4001 / 800-6688839. Or e-mail info@utcsports.com.

I also could not get a canadian website to work. Hopefully this info will help you out.

Nytro had one of the Uvex TT helmets some time back, maybe they carry road helmets?

I hope Nytro is still dealing with UVEX. They are not in their sponsorship package but it will be something good if they are just able to secure them.

I believe you posted a pic of the rider thats wearing a selev helmet, not a uvex, but the pic you have of just the helmet is a uvex.

on the topic of Uvex helmets…I found this on their website but no evidence of it anywhere in competition…Is it just a budget FP 2??

www.finkraftcoaching.com out of New Jersey carries Uvex helmets. Roger Aspholm is the owner. I know he has at least some blue/black ones in stock.

Wondering,…is it that big problem to get uvex helmets in us or canada ?

I’ve got a Uvex FP3 the one of Team Columbia and it is really good.

I bought it on ebay.
