I wonder how their faith impacts their views on political issues? Pro-choice? Marriage? I can’t seem to find anything on that but I’m sure they are all in lockstep or we would have heard about it by now, right? I mean strong women speak out.
I expect the media to start doing stories on their faith soon. All these young girls looking up to them need to know about the importance of Jesus in their lives and how all things come from God.
Are you not also expecting this to be a seminal moment in faith?
Equal pay!
LGBTQ rights!
Stop the hate!
Love Jesus!
I like the sound of all of it. Are you saying you don’t? Are you not supportive of their faith because they’re women or because some are women of color?
I couldn’t even tell it was a troll. I still don’t know what the point was supposed to be.
The point is these are strong women who rely heavily on their faith and attribute their success to it. We should celebrate that. Love Jesus. Celebrate God and all that is good. These women are leaders!

I had to give an extra point for a staunch republican bringing the meaning of faith into any discussion.
Supporting women is not a Republican or Democrat issue. It’s a human issue. I support these women and their faith. Do you not? Do you not want to hear more from them on how their faith guides their lives. Do you not want little girls to go to Church and read the Bible?
Why would you not, especially if it works for these strong women?

Sure, why not if you’re a Christian?
That’s not good enough. These women have a platform and we should support them, their Christian beliefs, and try to build on it.

I still don’t get your point. Are you saying that people who support the team in general wouldn’t support the members who are Christian?

The Church is losing members and is desperate for new, young churchgoers. This is just marketing.
I have no idea, but I’m guessing none of the team members they mention are gay.

Troll level downgraded to 1/10
Zero…point…zero is the goal, I guess.
But then who are you to stand in judgment of anyone? Only the Lord stands in judgment and he will judge us all some day (as these strong women so proudly profess).

I have no idea, but Heath Tobin sets my gaydar off big time.
Of my work colleagues 2 are married lesbians (not to each other), they are also the only two who post Christian stuff on FB. One has some sort of position in her Episcopal church.

Is “marketing” different than “speaking out”?
Who is gay and who is not gay is none of my concern. I just want young girls to know these strong women have strong faith. Equal pay and equal faith. Nobody should undersell or downplay these players’ faith on the basis of “marketing” because they are women. Nobody did that to Reggie White, Kurt Warner, or Muhammed Ali. We should not trivialize these women’s’ faith just because they are women.
