USAT rankings? Anyone know who it works?

Read the description on the new ranking system. I just can’t seem to understand it.

Plus, there seems to be no advantage in doing long races. In the past, there was since the equation factoring reduced the weighting of short races. Now it seems the best strategy would be to concentrate on sprints and Olys. Heavy training intensity and race a lot. Top two for the ranking.

Take me for example. M45-49 AG. Currently have 81.36 points. Last year, bottom HM was 81.76. Have one more race left, Las Vegas 70.3 in September. Got 83 points last month at Flagstaff 70.3. Figure I can ramp back up for a final peak and get 83 points or so again. Top two then would be around 83 points.

Last year, that would be enough for HM. This year, I think more people will have higher points than the past because of the new ranking system.

Anyone have any ideas on this.

Hard work, dialed-in nutrition, and a lot of smarts is way better than any PEDs.
