Hi, this is a bit after the fact but I just looked and even though my two races of last year (IMWI and St. Anthony’s) are listed and ranked in the USAT database, I have no overall ranking. I am also not listed in their print publication.
Anyone know if this may just be a mistake or anything else. I thought two races got you ranked last year? And as I said, the races are listed, just no overall ranking.

I’m pretty sure you had to have three sanctioned races.
I thought it used to be three, went down to two last year and will be three again next year. That’s what it says in their little magazine.
Last year it was 2 races. This year it is back to 3.
The 2006 stuff closed a LONG time ago for changes. One needs to be watching during the year.
I know some events last year did not show up for me because the RD missed getting the info in on time,
or entered correctly.
So, 2007 should be up no later than July 1st. I know I have already done 5 USAT races, so will be making
sure they are correct.
It is just like me looking at the WF results and finding concerns. Right after a race is when to look for issues.

Yes, I know it is closed, I wouldn’t want them to change anything, just wondering if it was just a mistake and if those happen a lot. What I don’t understand is that both races are listed and ranked, just no overall.
No idea. But, since nothing will change for last year, may want to consider watching this years in real time for issues. I know I will be.

Just to rule out the simple explanations…you have to have been an annual member as of December 31st of 2006 or some such date…not just when the races took place.
That probably isn’t the cause in your case but just throwing it out there.

What probably happened is that one or both of those races screwed something up in transferring the finish results over to USAT. I know that some of the IMNA races had birthdates transposed or something like that for some athletes. So, to USAT you didn’t do the minimum number of races. You would have had to notice that before the rankings were finalized…

Sounds like a mistake to me. I had to have them correct multiple mistakes last year. I think the new system had a lot of kinks that needed to be worked out.
