I’m not sure Atlanta should even make the short list, just not big enough. Fresno, Charlotte and Las Vegas have larger populations. I would go Houston.
By population it’s NYC, LA, Chicago, and Houston. That’s just a fact.
Nobody from other parts of the country or internationally are clamoring to go to Houston because it frankly sucks balls.
I’d say the four cities people (both international and domestic) probably want to visit the most would be NYC, SF, DC, and either Miami or LA. I’m ruling out places like Orlando and Vegas because you don’t go to those places to experience the city.
Yes. It is like that 10 time Pro Bowler making it to the Pro Bowl for the 11th time on reputation instead of merit. The dining scene is old, the arts so so, and poo water supply is not a good look.

Given the international media attention on DC having a terrible homeless problem, highest US crime rate and armed forces patrolling the streets tourist numbers to DC may drop.
We spent a week in DC last year and really enjoyed the sights, monuments and museums.
