Marc Bonnet-Eymard won the National Sprint Championships overall too, after his overall win in KC. There were lots of fast folks there and the race produced some very fast times.
I ran into a few Slowtwitchers there and had a good chat with them.

Sorry I missed you. So many people though I guess it’s easy to miss people. Looks like you had a good race, 5th AG in a competitive group.

I don’t think we could have asked for better weather. Now if I could just convince this bike go faster.

It was nice meeting you Herbert. Next time I’m not gonna take it so easy on you on the bike. :slight_smile: If I’d only had a Litespeed I would have beaten you, that and apparently from the times I stopped to have tea and crumpets in T1. Don’t know what happened there, must have taken me a while to pull off all the lake weeds. They weren’t kidding about it being shallow.

Great race, great fun and some seriously fast people. Did you see those Polio brothers? They are the anti-twitchers, insane fast in the water and on the run and only reasonable on the bike, but overall, dang that’s fast. A 16 flat run split at the end of that? And only in HS!

PS: Thanks a lot for interrupting me while I was in the middle of sweet talking that cute beginner girl. Don’t get me wrong man, I like talking to you, but she had better legs. :slight_smile:

Next time in T1 don’t get phone numbers from female racers, get them after the race.
