Update *Lumbar stenosis* Hemorrhoid

I’d question the diagnosis first. Do you FEEL a tender lump near your anus? With your finger? On the outside? Thrombosed external hemorrhoids are painful, are on the outside, and can often simply be numbed up and incised. Sometimes you need more, like a procedure from a general surgeon or a colorectal surgeon. If diagnosis is correct, you are not committed to some extensive surgical procedure. I don’t think hemorrhoids typically cause “butt pain” for months and months. Other possibilities… anal fissure, fistula (do you have inflammatory bowel disease or any kind?), colorectal malignancy, etc. If it has been bothering you that long, and typical hemorrhoid treatments are not working, go get checked out by a GI specialist or surgeon… my 2 cents.
