Finally. Now I can go for another reduced rate first 6 months package 
I just hope this doesn’t kill it also being available via an antennae free over the digital airwaves - I’ve enjoyed watching the Giro and Vuelta the last couple years.
Wish they would get in on ATT U-verse. I switched to this about 3 months ago and this my only complaint so far.
Maybe even get some extra online viewing options as well.
In addition to the linear TV network, Universal Sports’ ownership of full digital rights to its content will allow DIRECTV’s customers to enjoy the network’s programming on the Internet, mobile devices and tablets as DIRECTV rolls out its multiplatform offerings in the near future. Universal Sports subscribers will also have access to supplemental live Internet streams of events not aired on the linear network.

If you wanna pay extra for a sports package… no thanks. I like having the TV, but we will prolly be cutting that bil out sonner rather than later.
I’d bet this is an antitrust clause due to the NBC/Comcast merger, good to see!
w00t! We get all the movie channels so they effectively throw in the sports pack for free. I’m thrilled to hear this since I’m way, way too BFE to get it over air.
