Iâd guess some cops are going to be spending a lot of time sifting through this companies claims and such looking for potential disgruntled costomers of which there must be a metric shit ton.
As others have noted, reports are that it was a 9mm not a .22.
And from the twitter post with the surveillance video that sphere posted earlier in the thread, it looked like the first shot hit him squarely in the back; it was a follow up that hit him in the leg after he had stumbled to the ground.
I expect that theyâll find the shooter sooner rather than later.
The $10k reward (seems low), the pics, his backpack, ⌠are distinct enough that someone can say, âWhoa, I know that guy.â
And it still strikes me as more amateurish than polished. I mean he shot the guy right in view of surveillance video (a pro wouldâve scouted out where cameras would be).
I would imagine thereâs a big difference between clearing a jam on a range and doing one in the middle of a New York street after youâve calmly leveled your gun and shot a guy in the back right in front of a witness.
That really doesnât look like a guy who is doing that for the first time. It looked like he had zero sense of panic or hesitation in his actions.
I agree there. Just saying there are no shortage of ex-military or ex-LEO that are quite comfortable handling a firearm, and deploying it with intent. Is not a stretch to say someone like this held a deep grudge they were willing to act on. While still being amateur enough to get caught easily.
A cyber attack started yesterday against health systems, which is being reported today. The attack interferes/ed with telephone, email, other electronic data at facilities.
I saw two photos of the guy, both appear in to be taken in the same place. One of them looks like he has a black backpack instead of the ash/grey backpack he has during the shooting. Seems odd if they are from the same morning.
Yeah, you would think of youâre going to go through such lengths to plan this, you wouldnât be strutting around town in your murder outfit a few days before the act. You would have that set of clothes you wear that morning only and change in to something different as soon as possible.
Good thing he didnât survive with severe injuries. Pretty sure his insurance would have denied him coverage as the death threats would have been pre-existing conditions.
âShot in the back? Unfortunately, your records show you once had a chiropractic adjustment on your back in 2004. Claim denied. Thank you for being a loyal customer for over 20 yearsâ.
