I am committed in my switch from Brooks Glycerin to Newtons and I will not buy a pair of these despite their shiny appearance. I promise…

Ay review if running shoes that uses the term “sneakers” is immediately discredited.

They are actually wonderful. I’m a Newton devotee, but I’ve got a special connection with UA at the moment and I wore them recently… They are fantastic. I’m not great at writing reviews and getting all technical, but despite the word “sneaker”, they’re great.

What is the support like? Is it a neutral shoe or could someone that pronates wear it?

I think the Speedform can be closely compared to the Kinvara in terms of weight, feel, and what kind of runner should wear it. Even the mostly EVA bottom is similar. That said, the feel of the shoe is pretty good…dare I say seamless? The cons for me are the tounge and laces (compared to the rest of the shoe). Seemed like UA did a great job on everything and then just threw a pair of laces on there…easy fix though. Oh, and the “toe things”…too gimmicky for my taste.

I work at a specialty run store in MD and we’ve had them for a while. I’ve worn them around the store as well as a couple short runs on the treadmill and was relatively impressed. (For reference, I train in Brooks Launches, race in Saucony Type A5’s and have worn all 4 versions of the Kinvara.) I’ll be getting a pair soon and will at least race a Baltimore 5k in them. It’s good to see UA got a shoe right though.

I have flat feet and am a pronator and they felt great.
